Scope of Services
Entering school year of 2012 – 2013, Save the Children implemented a project in North Jakarta and Belu, NTT; named SETARA (Strengthening Education Through Awareness and Reading Achievement). SETARA offers solutions to inter-related constraints to primary school access and attendance in a poor area in North Jakarta by implementing Literacy Boost and a Comprehensive School Health and Safety (CSHS) approach; as well as further school readiness by implementing actions that contribute to child health, early literacy, and school readiness among pre-school students aged 4-6 (ECCE) in Belu District, NTT.
